The Not So Retired Pirate is a boss monster found in Pirate Isle and the first Pirate Boss most players will encounter. It is weak to Scimitars. Despite being a boss, it has relatively low Melee/Archery Defence (0) and High Magic Defenses. It drops Bones, Raw Piranha, Sand, Seashrooms, and Raw Lobster to name a few. Notable rare drops include the unique Dragon Scimitar (1/1,000), the Master Ring Mould (1/1,000), and the extremely rare Blue Lobster (1/500,000).

Three Guards
Upon starting the fight, you cannot attack the Not So Retired Pirate, but you must kill his Three Guards first. These Guards spawn at about 8 second intervals, and you must kill all 3 to begin fighting the main Boss.
Falling Piranha
After killing the Guards and Attacking the Boss, Piranha will fall from the sky and deal damage to you. The rate at which they fall will increase depending on how much health the Boss has left.
