Firemaking (also called Firemake) is a production skill related to Woodcutting. Players burn logs to create fires, which are used for Cooking food. Lighting a fire requires Matches and logs in your inventory.
Fires can be lit anywhere on the map except on teleport tiles. Higher-tier logs give more XP and burn longer. Pyro Matches (from the Bondfire) double the burn duration of any fire, and dungeon torches burn for half the normal duration.

Pyro Matches double the burn time. Dungeon torches are half the normal burn time.
Bondfire
The Bondfire is a community project where players work together to keep a giant fire lit. To check the time remaining on the fire you can either right click it, or use the Dounbot commands to see it (!bondfire or !status). You must be at least level 30 Firemaking to contribute. If the server updates or crashes, the Bondfire resets.
Every few ticks you will receive damage from the heat of the fire, wearing Pyro Gloves; a reward from exchanging Bondfire Points, will reduce the chance of being burned by 75% and make it negligible.
To fuel the Bondfire, bring logs and add them to the fire. It takes 21 ticks to add a log regardless of tier. While the fire is consistently burning, everyone contributing earns 1 Firebond Point per minute. Points can still be earned solo without a consistent fire, but at a much slower rate.

Healing Torches
After completing the Healing Torches Quest, you can light torches in bank locations to heal yourself. Each bank requires a Sacred Heart - a rare version of a craftable heart obtained through Crafting. Every Heart has a different chance to become Sacred. To become a Sacred Heart the Bondfire must be lit, every tick the Bondfire is lit it has a chance to become sacred. You must craft a separate Heart for each bank.

Tips
- Use the best logs you can for the Bondfire - Magic Logs give 20 ticks per log, 20x more than Normal Logs.
- Pyro Matches are one of the best Bondfire rewards - doubling fire duration means less time relighting fires for Cooking.
- The Healing Torches quest is a long-term goal. The Sacred Heart drop rates become very rare at higher tiers (up to 1/86,400 for Magic Hearts).
- Pine Logs currently cannot be burned at all, but can be lit as a Sacred Heart in the Frostvale Bank.
