Health is a passive Combat skill in FlatMMO that determines a player's hit points (HP). Unlike other combat skills, Health does not need to be trained separately - it gains experience automatically whenever the player deals damage using Melee, Archery, or Magic attacks. For every 1 damage dealt to a monster, the player receives 2 Health XP.
Players gain a flat +1 HP for every Health level. HP is capped at 109 HP.
How It Works
Health experience is earned alongside your chosen combat style. When you deal damage to a monster, you receive XP in both the combat style you are using (Melee, Archery, or Magic) and in Health simultaneously. This means Health will always be one of your highest-level skills if you train any form of combat regularly.
When a player's HP reaches 0, they die and respawn in Everbrook (the starting town). There is no item loss on death for normal accounts, though Hardcore accounts are deleted upon death.
HP Scaling
| Health Level | Max HP |
|---|---|
| 1 | 10 |
| 10 | 19 |
| 20 | 29 |
| 30 | 39 |
| 40 | 49 |
| 50 | 59 |
| 60 | 69 |
| 70 | 79 |
| 80 | 89 |
| 90 | 99 |
| 99 | 108 |
| 100 (max) | 109 |
Your starting HP at level 1 is 10. Each level adds +1 HP.
Healing
HP can be restored during and outside of combat by eating cooked food. Some brewed drinks also restore health. Players cannot eat while dead.

Training
Since Health levels through all combat, the most efficient way to train it is to train whichever combat style you prefer. The best training locations are the same as those for Melee, Archery, and Magic:
| Combat Level | Location | Recommended Enemies |
|---|---|---|
| 1-20 | Everbrook | Chickens, Farmers, Cows |
| 20-30 | Everbrook / Mystic Vale | Cows, Guard Mages |
| 30-40 | Mystic Vale / Beach | Red Mages, Crabs, Pirates |
| 40-50 | Omboko / Sewer | Tribesmen, Sewer enemies |
| 50-60 | Pirate Isle / Frostvale | Pirates, Frostvale enemies |
| 60-70 | Desert / Hell | Desert enemies, Demons |
| 70+ | Volcano | Volcano enemies |
Always bring food when training combat. Higher-healing food lets you stay longer and train more efficiently.
Tips
- Health levels passively - focus on training Melee, Archery, or Magic and Health will follow.
- Bring the best food you can afford or cook. Sharks (20 HP) and Anglers (22 HP) are ideal for high-level combat.
- Sushi provides the same healing as top-tier fish but requires Cooking and Seaweed.
- The Huge Stamina Potion from Brewing allows fighting while running, which can help you avoid damage and preserve food.
- On Hardcore accounts, managing your HP is critical - healing items are harder to obtain.
