Forging is a production skill related to Mining. Players smelt ores into bars at the Furnace, then craft Armour, Tools, weapons, and arrowheads at Anvils. Forging XP is earned from both smelting and crafting.

Furnace

The Furnace is where you smelt ores into bars and Sand into Glass. You must have the required Forging level for each recipe. Higher-tier ores require more Coal (and Charcoal for Promethium+). You can smelt one at a time or use Bulk Smelt.

Charcoal Kiln

The Charcoal Kiln is located in the 2nd room of the 2nd floor of the Mines. Charcoal is required for smelting Promethium, Titanium, and Ancient bars.

To make 1 Charcoal, you need 50 Woodchips and 600 Coins. Once processed, the Charcoal appears on the ground and will not despawn - you must click it to collect.

Anvils

Anvils are used to smith bars into weapons, armour, tools, and arrowheads. There are only 2 anvils in the game, located on the 2nd floor of the Mine. You must have a bar in your inventory to interact - the anvil will only show recipes for the type of bar you are carrying.
