Stats

Your combat stats determine how effective you are in battle:

Stat Description
Weapon Type The attack style of your current weapon. Types include Slash, Stab, Crush, Archery, and Magic. Certain monsters are weak to certain attack types, causing bonus damage.
Accuracy (ACC) Determines your chance of landing a hit. The higher your accuracy, the more likely you are to hit through a monster's defence. Accuracy comes from weapons, bows, staves, and necklaces.
Melee Damage (MD) Bonus damage dealt with Melee weapons.
Archery Damage (AD) Bonus damage dealt with Archery equipment. Bows provide accuracy, while arrows provide damage.
Magic Damage (SD) Bonus damage dealt with Magic equipment. Staves provide accuracy, while damage orbs provide damage.
Defence (DF) Reduces incoming melee and archery damage. The higher your defence, the more accuracy an attacker needs to land hits. You gain defence from Armour. A blue 0 means your defence blocked the attack.
Magic Defence (SDF) Reduces incoming magic damage. Works the same way as regular defence but against magic attacks.
Hitpoints (HP) How much damage you can take before you die. You start with 9 HP. Monsters and the environment can deplete your hitpoints. Eat food by clicking it, or the keybind F2 (only works after eating once) to restore HP.
