Community Events

Community Events are things that the whole of the FlatMMO community can work together in.

Bondfire

The Bondfire is a Community-type project focusing on keeping this Giant fire Lit.

To keep this fire lit, you need to bring logs, loads and loads of logs. Each log that gets put into the fire will add towards the fires timer.

You require level 30 Firemaking to start adding toward the Bondfire.

Bondfire Rewards:

Redeeming your Firebond Points can reward you with these items below and some Fish.

Pyro Matches		Lighting fires with these matches DOUBLES the duration of the fire lit.
Pyro Gloves		Wearing these gloves decreases the chances of taking damage from the bondfire by 70%.
Fireshroom Seeds		Planting these in a Farming plot and harvesting them rewards with Fireshrooms
Fireshroom		A Brewing Ingredient for a Fire-related potion!
Fire Orb		An Orb used for casting Magic Spells.
Cooked Tuna		Fish used for eating

Evil Tree

The Evil Tree is a Community-Type Event Focusing on chopping this Evil Tree.

The Evil Tree has a very rare chance of spawning after chopping down a Tree, and lasts for 1 Hour.

If you cut an Evil tree using the Leafy Gloves, you will obtain 2x Points and 2x Xp.

You Will gain Evil Points overtime when chopping the Evil Tree, which you can use to redeem Rewards at the Forest Spirits.

These Point Gains are without the use of the Leafy Gloves. When you use the Leafy Gloves, point gain and xp gained is Doubled.

Meteor

The Meteor is a Mine-able rock that drops random Ores. It is one of the only source of getting Ancient Ore, along with the one ancient ore node. It Spawns once an HOUR in a Random Location.

Alien

The Alien is a rare occurrence to happen after mining a Meteor. It is the only way of getting the Meteor Pickaxe. You only need to have mined the Meteor once per game session to collect the rewards. You can even mine the new Meteor and run back if you're quick enough as the Alien only stays 5 minutes. If you haven't mined the Meteor since you logged in, the Alien will refuse to give you anything.

Fun Player Gatherings

Players often find creative ways to enjoy the game beyond its core mechanics, using in-game content in unexpected and entertaining ways.

Omboko Well Cult

The Omboko Well Cult is a player-organized gathering where participants form an orderly line inside the Omboko Well’s Stealing Stall Room. Members typically do not wear masks, do not have pets active and face newcomers.

The Event is normally held when the stalls reset Friday night at midnight (+00:00 GMT).

The founder of this sacred (and slightly absurd) cult is the player Sushilord!

Dounbots Valentines Day Competition 2026

Prize: 9m (Thank you Liam for being amazing hosting this event and dounating 4m coins into the Prize pool).

This was a Team-Based event. You needed to join one of the Dounbot teams with the !team Command and have your profile's API set to Public.

The 4 Teams competing were: Voltor, Nix, Balance and Zane.

There were 9 competitions being hosted by Dounbot on FlatMMO Stats:

Woodcutting, Bondfire, Firemaking, Stealing, Evil Tree Points, Lochness Points, Silfkfang kills, Giant Flufflare kills, and Noctyrix Starfruit drops.

Each competition gave points based on standings for each team, Liam used the sum of the points of each player to rank their teams.

Team Points:

1st → 40
2nd → 25
3rd → 15
4th → 5

The team with the Highest amount of points by the end of the event was declared the WINNER!

In first place was team Voltor with 330 points. Second went to team Zane with 245 points. Third was secured by team Nix with 125 points. The team that came in last place was Balance with 65 points.

The Prize Money is currently being distributed by trading with Dounbot until Feb 26th, 2026 00:00 GMT. Players are rewarded based on their position in the event.
