Barrel is an item collected on the ground near the Everbrook Tavern. It can be used for Fermenting. Using the Cooking skill at level 10 for 1,000 XP. Barrels are used with Barley and Water Buckets to create beverages. A higher-tier Desert Barrel requires level 40 Cooking and 5,000 XP.
It becomes a Fermented Barrel when filled.
