Skills are trainable abilities in FlatMMO. Players gain experience in each skill by performing related activities, unlocking new content as they level up. There are currently 17 skills in the game.
Combat Skills
- Melee — Close-range combat with swords, daggers, and clubs
- Archery — Ranged combat with bows and arrows
- Magic — Magical combat with staves, wands, and spell scrolls
- Health — Hit points; levels passively during all combat
- Hunting — Tracking and hunting specific creatures
Gathering Skills
- Mining — Mining ores from rocks
- Fishing — Catching fish
- Woodcutting — Chopping trees for logs
- Farming — Planting and harvesting crops
- Stealing — Pickpocketing NPCs and looting chests
Production Skills
- Forging — Smelting bars and smithing weapons and armour
- Crafting — Crafting bows, leather armour, and other items
- Cooking — Cooking food for healing
- Brewing — Brewing potions for combat buffs
- Enchantment — Enchanting items at shrines
- Firemaking — Lighting fires from logs
Other Skills
- Worship — A spiritual skill trained at the Graveyard and other locations
