Tools are items used to perform various skilling activities throughout FlatMMO. Different tools are required for different skills, and higher-tier tools provide improved efficiency with a few being required for fishing. Tools must be held in the player's hand to be used.

Mining Tools

Pickaxes are used for Mining. Higher-tier pickaxes are not required to mine higher-level ores but provide faster mining speeds.

Woodcutting Tools

Axes are used for Woodcutting. Higher-tier axes are not required to chop higher-level trees but provide faster chopping speeds.

Fishing Tools

Fishing tools are used for Fishing. Each tool catches a specific set of fish or speeds up the action and may require a certain Fishing level to use.

Firemaking Tools

Firemaking tools are used with the Firemaking skill to light fires, which can then be used for Cooking.

	Matches	Used to light fires. Obtained from the Heating Homes quest or purchased from Shops.
	Pyro Matches	Used to light fires that last 2x longer than normal fires.

Cooking Tools

	Chefs Hat	Using this Hat while Cooking will decrease the Chance to Burn Food by 5%

Farming Tools

Farming Tools are used to Aid People in the Farming Skill.

	Secateurs	Harvesting from Crops will Yield 50% more Crops

Miscellaneous Tools

Icon	Name	Use
	Shovel	Used to dig in sand piles at the Beach to obtain Bait, Seashroom Seeds, and other items.
	Hell Shovel	Functions as a regular Shovel but can also dig in Hell. Can be picked up in Hell.
	Machete	Used to cut through vines blocking paths. Purchased from the Omboko shop.
	Bucket	Used to carry water and milk. Crafted from Logs via Crafting.
	Bone Crusher	Automatically crushes Bones for Worship experience when in inventory. Dropped by Farmers.
	Lantern	Can be filled with 500 Slime Oil to provide light in dark areas such as caves. Required for fishing Anglerfish. Can be stolen from the Omboko Well Stall.
